The West Point Leadership Program at the National Command & Staff College is designed to equip law enforcement, military personnel, and public safety professionals with elite leadership skills rooted in the timeless principles of the United States Military Academy. MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Dave Mather – Public Safety Leadership Expert

With over 35 years of experience in public safety leadership, Dr. Dave Mather has worked with more than 350 agencies worldwide as an executive coach, leadership instructor, keynote speaker, and consultant. His expertise has helped public safety organizations enhance their leadership culture, strategic operations, and organizational resilience.

Dr. Mather’s extensive career includes:

• Former Executive Director for RULETC, a U.S. Department of Justice project supporting law enforcement agencies.

• Training consultant and leadership mentor for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police and the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.

• Founding Professional Advisor for the Center for Excellence in Public Safety Leadership.

• University instructor with a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on adult learning methodologies.
